BlueClaws To Host Sports Networking Event June 17th

LAKEWOOD, NJ - Those looking to work in the sports industry can take advantage of a great networking opportunity as the BlueClaws host their first "Sports Management and Networking Night" on June 17th.
Presenters include Joe Favorito, a long-time sports media professional. Speakers from the New York Jets, New Jersey Devils, ESPN, and the Yankees Radio Network will also be in attendance.
"This is really a unique event for us," said BlueClaws General Manager Geoff Brown. "There are a lot of people that are looking to get into the sports industry and this event provides them with a way to get their foot in the door."
The event, which includes a meet-and-greet picnic at that night's 7:05 game, begins at 4:00 pm with introductions and round table discussions.
There will also be time for Q&A with the speakers, who will stay to enjoy the all-you-can-eat picnic during the game.

The event is designed for young professionals looking to gain entrance into the sports industry or those thinking about a transition into the sports industry.
The Lakewood BlueClaws are in their 10th season of baseball at the Jersey Shore, having led the South Atlantic League in attendance in each of the first nine.
