OKLAHOMA CITY, Jan. 29, 2015 - The Oklahoma City Blue fell to the Erie BayHawks, 95-84, on Thursday, ending a nine-game winning streak.

Five Blue players scored in double figures behind 24 points and 14 rebounds from Talib Zanna. Josh Huestis produced 18 points, five boards and two blocks and Xavier Alexander finished with 13 points and eight rebounds. Semaj Christon and Marquis Teague each scored 10 points and combined for 13 assists.

"I thought we did a good job on Seth Curry for most of the game," said Blue Head Coach Mark Daigneault. "He's the leading scorer in the league and Josh Huestis really imposed his length on him and did a nice job there. I was pleased with how we played right out of the gate but we didn't sustain that for the 48 minutes of the game. We have to get back to work."

Oklahoma City opened the game with a 23-6 run, but the BayHawks outscored the Blue 14-4 in the remainder of the quarter. Erie outpaced Oklahoma City 23-20 in the second period to narrow the Blue's lead to 48-43 at the half.

Erie won the third frame 27-17 and built an eight-point lead midway through the fourth. The Blue went on a 5-0 run over three minutes to pull within three with 1:19 to play. Drew Crawford hit a corner three on the following possession to push the BayHawks lead back to six. Erie held Oklahoma City scoreless in the final minute to hold on to the win.

The Blue (17-11) blocked a season-best 12 shots, including five blocks from Richard Solomon.

Erie (11-17) was led by Drew Crawford with 24 points and Seth Curry with 21.

Oklahoma City plays four consecutive road games before the All-Star break, beginning on Saturday in Des Moines against the Iowa Energy. For more information, visit OklahomaCityBlue.com.
