NEWARK, DE - The Delaware Blue Coats (6-8), the NBA G League affiliate of the Philadelphia 76ers, defeated the Oklahoma City Blue (11-3), 115-114, on a Haywood Highsmith floater with 4.5 seconds remaining on Monday night at the Bob Carpenter Center. The offensive rebound and finish punctuated another big comeback effort by the Blue Coats, who trailed by as many as 20 points early in the fourth quarter.

Highsmith, who turned 22 years old on Sunday, matched D.J. Hogg with a game-high 23 points in 32 minutes. Highsmith (10-of-14 FG) added six rebounds, while Hogg was 7-for-13 from three-point range in 31 minutes. Cameron Oliver notched a double-double with 22 points and 10 rebounds in 31 minutes off the bench.

"It was great," said head coach Connor Johnson. "We try to get our guys in a position where they play through the end of each possession and [on] an offensive rebound you kind of never know what happens--the defense has to scramble a bit. And we got one. It's one that could definitely go either way, so we're happy with the way it did."

Donte Grantham paced Oklahoma City with 22 points and 11 rebounds in 37 minutes. Bryce Alford (5-of-10 3pt FG) added 20 points in 32 minutes off the bench and Richard Solomon had a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds in 34 minutes.

The Blue Coats head to Texas for a Thursday afternoon meeting with the Rio Grande Valley Vipers, before taking on the Texas Legends on Saturday night at 8:30 p.m. ET. The team then competes at the 2018 MGM Resorts NBA G League Winter Showcase in Las Vegas on Dec. 20 and Dec. 22.
