Blue Bombers Hold the Line on Season Ticket Prices

WINNIPEG, MB – Good news for Winnipeg Blue Bombers season-ticket holders: there will be no increase in season-ticket prices for the 2003 season.

The football club has held the line on Blue Bomber season-ticket prices, which remain in the lowest third of the CFL. Season-ticket renewal is now underway. Season-ticket holders should keep an eye out for their renewal forms, which will be in the mail shortly.

Fans have until Dec. 14, 2002 to put a $50.00 deposit on their seats for the 2003 CFL season. There are many benefits to being a Winnipeg Blue Bombers season-ticket holder, including the following:

· The opportunity to see the league's most exciting team play all of its home games
· A savings of 10% compared to walk-up prices
· Complimentary tickets to the pre-season game
· A savings of 20% on all merchandise items at the Bomber Store
· The chance to win prizes on game day

Fans who pay in full by Dec. 14, 2002 will be entered to win prizes ranging from:

· A road trip with the team
· An all-expenses paid trip to the 2003 Grey Cup
· Or the Grand Prize of an all-inclusive trip for two to Jamaica, courtesy of Appleton Jamaica Rum

Fans who pay in full by Dec. 14, 2002 will also receive a season ticket to all Winnipeg Rifles home games in the Canadian Junior Football League for the 2003 season.

The easiest way to renew your tickets is to fax the renewal form to the football club at 204-783-5222. Otherwise, current season-ticket holders can visit the Winnipeg Football Club offices to renew their season tickets or can call 204-784-2583.
