Blizzard Announce Date and Time of Women's Camp

The Green Bay Blizzard are excited to announce the date and time of the much anticipated 3rd Annual Women's Camp sponsored by St. Mary's Hospital's A Woman's Place. The camp has been a success enjoyed by the team and around 200 female fans since the camp's inauguration in 2005. This year's camp will be held on June 19, 2007 from 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. on U.S. Cellular field at the Resch Center.

The 2007 Women's Camp will serve as an introduction to some of the fundamental skills to the sport of football. The camp will also present some of the skills and drills that are specific to the game of Arena Football. Instructors for the camp will include Blizzard coaches and players whose goal it will be to create a fun competitive environment for the camp's participants. The Blizzard instructional staff will put the camp's participants through a typical Blizzard practice. At the camp women will have fun with drill including: calling plays, throwing passes, running routes, blocking, catching passes, and returning kicks.

The 2007 Green Bay Blizzard Women's Camp is open to any women over the age of 18. There is no cost to participate in the camp, and participants will receive a complimentary ticket to the following Blizzard game against the Fort Wayne Fusion on June 22 at 7:30 p.m. Women participating in the camp will also receive a goody bag, all provided by St. Mary's Hospital's A Women's Place.

St. Mary's Hospital's A Women's Place will also be sponsoring "Ladies Night" and a bead giveaway on the evening of June 22 when the Blizzard take on the Fort Wayne Fusion.
