The Blazers saw a 3-0 lead disappear in a 5-4 loss on the road in Red Deer. Deven Sideroff scored twice, while Matt Revel and Rudolfs Balcers added goals. Austin Pratt scored twice for the Rebels and Josh Mahura had the winning goal in the third period. Riley Lamb was the game's first star for the Rebels with 32 saves, while Connor Ingram stopped 34 shots in the loss. Game Highlights
Friday, October 7, 2016 at Calgary - 2-1 Loss
The Blazers gave up two power play goals in the third period, as the Hitmen squeezed by the Blazers 2-1. Quinn Benjafield scored the game's first goal in the first period off an offensive zone faceoff. Connor Ingram was the game's first star with 35 saves in the loss. Game Highlights
Saturday, October 8, 2016 at Medicine Hat - 5-1 Win
Connor Ingram had a big night in goal with 39 saves as the Blazers finished their road trip with a 5-1 win in Medicine Hat. Nick Chyzowski and Garrett Pilon each had a goal and an assist. Ondrej Vala picked up two assists and Matt Revel scored twice in the win. Game Highlights

Kneen on NHL Central Scouting / Prospects Headed to U16 Challenge Cup
Defenseman Nolan Kneen was ranked as a 'C' prospect in NHL Central Scouting's preliminary watch list for the upcoming 2017 NHL Draft.
Prospects Massimo Rizzo, Quinn Schmiemann, Connor Zary and Jerzy Orchard all made their respective provincial teams for the U-16 Challenge Cup in Calgary October 19-23.
