Blazers Select Two Players in the US Prospects Draft

Kamloops, BC - The Kamloops Blazers have selected forward Conrad Fondrk and Ethan Bryant in the 2022 WHL U.S. Priority Draft
Fondrk was chosen 18th overall in the draft. The 5'9" and 150lb forward from White Bear Lake, MN played with Mount St. Charles Academy U14 AAA and had 58 goals, 50 assists and 108 points in 58 games this season.
"Conrad is an offensive forward with good 1-on-1 skill. He has a lot of poise and creativity in the offensive zone. We are excited to welcome Conrad and his family to the Blazers organization." Commented Director of Player Personnel, Robbie Sandland.
The Blazers selected forward Ethan Bryant from Scottsdale, AZ in the second round 27th overall. Bryant stands at 5'9" and 165lbs. He played this season with the Phoenix Jr. Coyotes 14U AAA. His statistics are unavailable from the 2021-22 season.
"Ethan is a highly skilled left shot forward, he has a great release on his shot. Good hands in small areas, and elusive in traffic. We are really excited to be able to select Ethan," commented Sandland.
The 2022 WHL Prospects Draft will take place on Thursday, May 19th starting at 8:30am/PT.
