Kamloops, BC - The Kamloops Blazers selected Massimo Rizzo from the Burnaby Winter Club with the 15th overall pick in the WHL Bantam Draft Thursday morning.

Rizzo is listed at 5'10" and 165lbs and is from Burnaby, BC.

He is a left shot that plays center and played for the Burnaby Winter Club Bantam AAA team this season.

Rizzo helped his team win the Western Canadian Bantam AAA Championships held in Okotoks, AB in early April. He was named a first team all-star and led the event in scoring with three goals, eight assists and 11 points in five games.

"Massimo is a skilled and competitive player that plays center." commented Director of Player Personnel, Matt Recchi. "He is creative with the puck and exciting to watch, as he plays at a high tempo."
