Giants Acquire 20th Pick; Draft Trent Miner

Vancouver, B.C. - The Vancouver Giants announced on Tuesday that the hockey club has acquired the 20th overall pick in the 2016 WHL Bantam Draft from the Red Deer Rebels in exchange for a 2016 second round pick (24th overall) and a 2016 third round pick (46th overall). The Giants are also proud to announce that the team has selected goaltender Trent Miner with the 20th overall pick.

Miner, a native of Brandon, Manitoba, posted a 1.52 goals against average in 27 games with the Brandon Wheat Kings Bantam AAA team in the 2015/16 season.
