Raiders Make Deal with Americans

Prince Albert, SK - The Prince Albert Raiders announced Thursday that the club has acquired a third round pick (51st overall) in the 2016 WHL Bantam Draft from the Tri-City Americans in exchange for defenceman Dalton Yorke.

A native of Maple Ridge, BC, Yorke dressed in 70 games for the Raiders during the 2015-16 season where he notched two goals and 11 assists for 13 points along with 122 penalty minutes. In 100 games with Prince Albert, the 19-year-old blue liner registered three goals and 16 helpers for 19 points, in addition to 163 penalty minutes.

Yorke was originally acquired by the Raiders on January 6, 2015 from the Kelowna Rockets as part of a trade for the rights to Leon Draisaitl.

The Raiders used the 51st overall pick to select goaltender Brett Balas.
