Blades Shut Down Wheat Kings for Tenth Straight Win at Home

BEST AT HOME:Saskatoon Blades forward Egor Sidorov set a new career-high in goals in Sunday's 3-1 victory over the Brandon Wheat Kings at SaskTel Centre.

The Anaheim Ducks draft pick picked up two goals in the win for his 40th and 41st of the season. Sidorov's performance extends his point streak to five games with 11 points (6G, 5A) in that time. In 48 games, Sidorov has 68 points.

Rookie netminder Evan Gardner was a rock in goal for the Blades, stopping 33-of-34 shots to improve his record to 14-5-0-2.

Saskatoon's dominance continued at home, Sunday's win marking the tenth straight at SaskTel Centre. The Blue and Gold boast the best home record in the CHL at 21-1-1-0, and are first in the WHL with a 36-9-2-3 record.

NEXT GAME: The Blades continue their seven-game home-stand Tuesday when they welcome the Lethbridge Hurricanes.
