Blades featured on NHL Network as ECHL Game of the Week

ESTERO, FL - The Florida Everblades are proud to announce that the club will be featured on the NHL Network this Saturday night as the ECHL Game of the Week. Florida's 7-2 win over South Carolina on Jan. 5 will be rebroadcast on NHL Network this Saturday, January 12 at 7 p.m.

2007-08 is the sixth year in a row and the first time in the United States, that the NHL Network will showcase Premier 'AA' Hockey League teams and players each week with the ECHL Game of the Week. The Everblades are scheduled to appear four times this season on the NHL Network as the ECHL Game of the Week.

The ECHL Game of the Week is available in more than 80 million homes across America including through agreements with Cablevision, Comcast, Cox Communications, DIRECTV, DISH Network and Time Warner Cable.

The ECHL Game of the Week will air each Saturday at 7 p.m. ET and will be rebroadcast each Sunday at 1 p.m. ET. Fans can visit the NHL Network web site at www.NHLNetwork.ca to check the schedule.

NHL Network has broadcast the Kelly Cup Finals each of the past four years and will again feature extensive coverage of the Kelly Cup Playoffs in April and May.

Experience the excitement of the Everblades 10th Anniversary season! The Everblades return to action on Thursday, January 10 when they travel to Augusta to take on the Lynx at 7:05 p.m. from James Brown Arena.
