TODAY'S GAME: Tonight, the Bisons take on the Scranton/WB Red Barons in the fourth game of an eight-game in seven-day series (7:05 p.m.). The first five games are being played at Dunn Tire Park before the set shifts to Lackawanna County Stadium on Friday. The Red Barons currently hold the 2-1 advantage in the series but the Bisons will be looking to even it up with RHP Jake Dittler on the mound today. Dittler has had three consecutive no-decisions, including last Friday in Ottawa (4.0IP, 6H, 2ER). Scranton/WB will counter with RHP Jeremy Cummings, who took a no-decision on Friday as well (7.0IP, 1H, 1ER, 7K).

FAMILIAR FOES: The Bisons will play the final 13 games of the 2006 regular season against teams within the International League North division. At 39-28, the Bisons have the best divisional record in the North.

HIT STREAK: Jason Dubois enters play tonight with a nine-game hitting streak where he has averaged .387 (12-31) with two doubles, a home run three RBI and six runs scored. He has also reached in 17 straight games since August 4 (.333, 20-60). On the year, Dubois leads the Bisons with 21 home runs (T4th in IL), 83RBI (4th in IL) and a .496 slugging percentage (5th in IL).

CHART CLIMBER: Ben Francisco has collected a hit in 18 of his last 21 games, averaging .310 (27-87) since July 31. With a team-high 132 hits, the outfielder is tied for fourth in the International League. Francisco has also scored eight runs in his last eight games and now has the third most runs scored in the IL (75).

EVERY DAY: Jonathan Van Every went 3-4 last night with a home run hit and a home run taken away with a great grab over the wall in centerfield. Since returning to the Herd on August 11 for his second stint with the team, Van Every has hit .342 (13-38) with two doubles, two home runs, five RBI and six runs scored in 12 games.

HOT BAT: Kevin Kouzmanoff went 1-3 last night and is now 16 for his last 30 (.533) in his last eight games. Overall, he has hit in 15 of the 19 games he has played with the Bisons, posting a .391 (27-69) average and a .754 slugging percentage.
