Lynx host the Sens on Labor Day

Ottawa - Labour Day weekend means the summer is winding down and colder weather is on the way. What better way to celebrate the end of another summer than the Boys of Summer hosting the Boys of Winter on the last day of the regular season?

Monday, September 4th is Senators Day at Lynx Stadium. A select number of players from the Ottawa Senators Hockey Club will be available for autographs and participate in pre-game activities, including batting practice at 11:30 am and the Ceremonial First Pitch prior to the start of the 1:05 pm Lynx game against the Buffalo Bisons.

The Sens will wear special Ottawa Lynx jerseys that will be available in a silent auction during the game, with proceeds directed to the Ottawa Senators Foundation in support of Roger's House, the Sens' charity of choice.

Spartacat will join his good friend Skratch in entertaining the kids at the Stadium and members of the Sens Street Tour will be on hand with some fun games with the younger fans. The Senators will also give away some cool prizes.

Before the first pitch, watch the Skyhawks put on a spectacular aerial display, as they parachute down and land on the Lynx Stadium outfield. Help us celebrate the end of another great season of Lynx baseball as we look forward to next season!

August 26th, 6:05 pm - Rogers Television presents Kids Appreciation Day. Kids! Arrive to the game early to enter your name in for a chance to throw out the Ceremonial First Pitch and visit the Rogers Television booth for jewelry making, colouring, prize draws and more. Show your best baseball commentary at the Rogers Television Interactive Media Station and you'll be entered to win a behind-the-scenes tour of the Rogers mobile studio, a guest appearance in the broadcast booth and your very own game day media pass!

August 27th, 1:05pm - Ottawa Citizen Team Photo & Autograph Day. The first 5,000 fans will receive a 2006 Ottawa Lynx team photo courtesy of the Ottawa Citizen. Come before the 1:05pm game starts for an Ottawa Lynx team autograph session! Gates open at Noon.

September 3rd, 7:05pm - Fan Appreciation Day & Hyundai Home Run Sunday A TON of prizes will be given away on this day as we thank our fans for supporting us this season. This day is also another Hyundai Home Run Sunday! If 3 consecutive Lynx players hit home runs (back-to-back-to-back) in the bottom of the 6th inning, one fan will win a brand new, fully loaded Hyundai Sonata!
