Buffalo Bisons News Release

TODAY'S GAME: This morning, the Buffalo Bisons look to bounce back from a pair of tough losses as they face the Charlotte Knights in game three of a four-game series from Dunn Tire Park (10:35 a.m.). Buffalo lost a second straight slugfest to the Knights, 14-8, Sunday afternoon. Looking to get the Herd back on track will be Jason Stanford. On the year, Gutierrez has scored 20 runs in just 22 games played.

RUN PRODUCERS: Only three International League batters collected 20 or more RBI in April and two play for the Bisons. Ryan Garko has driven in 7 in his last five games and leads the league with 22RBI. Jason Dubois is right behind his teammate, tied for 2nd in the IL with 20RBI.

ANOTHER HOMER: Outfielder Jason Dubois hit his 5th home run of the season yesterday. That puts him in a tie for the third most home runs in the International League (TOL Mike Hessman, 7).

ROSTER MOVE: The Cleveland Indians have activated Fernando Cabrera off his Major League rehab assignment. Cabrera joined the Bisons on 4/17 and was 1-0 with a 1.08ERA in four games with the Herd this year (8.1IP, 8H, 1ER, 13K).

SCHOOL KIDS DAY: The Bisons will welcome approximately 7,500 kids from 130 schools ranging from Southern Ontario, Canada to Northern Pennsylvania for today's annual morning game.

05 FLASHBACK: The Bisons also faced the Knights for School Kids Day in 2005. On May 23, the Bisons hit five home runs, including a pinch-hit, walk-off three-run blast from Andy Abad, in defeating Charlotte, 10-7, in 11 innings.
