TODAY'S GAME: Tonight, the Buffalo Bisons take on the Indianapolis Indians in the third game of a four-game series at Coca-Cola Field (7:05 p.m.). The series is tied at a game a piece with the Herd's 11-6 win on Saturday and Indy's 4-1 victory yesterday. The Bisons are now 4-2 on their modern-era record 16-game homestand that will run until May 31.

vs. INDIANS: The Bisons are now 1-1 against the Indians this season. The Herd has not won a four-game series against Indianapolis since the 2004 season. That year, Buffalo won three of four from the Indians at both Coca-Cola Field and Victory Field. Since then, the Indians have nine series wins of 3-1 and five splits against the Bisons.

OLE: LHP GARRETT OLSON faces his former team for the first time today. The southpaw was 4-3 with a 3.05ERA in 24 games and 15 starts for the Indians in 2011. Olson is coming off his first Bisons win, allowing three runs in five innings last Wednesday against Gwinnett. The veteran has posted at least four strikeouts and yielded three earned runs or fewer in all eight of his starts.

STEALING HOME: Yesterday, OF COREY WIMBERLY became the first Bisons player to record a straight steal of home since OF CHRIS CLAPINSKI stole the plate on May 16, 2004 in Columbus. Wimberly swiped two bags yesterday to record the Bisons first multi-steal game since INF ARGENIS REYES on April 17, 2009 against Syracuse. Wimberly has 277 stolen bases in 626 career minor league games.

HITTING HERD: Despite yesterday's season-low two-hit game, the Bisons are still hitting .276 as a team this season. That average is five points higher than any other team in the league. Buffalo leads the IL with 47 home runs and is second with 211 runs scored. The Herd is averaging 5.64 runs and 10.0 hits a game in 22 contests at Coca-Cola Field.

BISONS BITS: RHP EDGAR RAMIREZ made his 2012 Bisons debut yesterday and allowed two runs in three innings. He's the 38th different player to appear for Buffalo this year...RHP JEFF STEVENS has allowed just one run in his last eight appearances (8.1IP, 4H, 2BB, 8K).

METS UPDATE : The Mets' (22-19) held on for a 6-5 victory over the Blue Jays yesterday. Former Bisons RHP DILLON GEE allowed three runs in 6.2 innings of work to even his record at 3-3. OF MIKE BAXTER finished a homer away from the cycle and scored twice. The Met's roadtrip continues in Pittsburgh tonight (7:05 p.m.).
