NOTHING BUT GWINNETT: The Rochester Red Wings tonight play the 3rd game of their 4-game series vs. Gwinnett (Braves), continuing an 8-game homestand that began with a 4-game set against Louisville (Reds). Following tomorrow's series finale, Rochester will take Wednesday off and then hit the road for 8 games, including a pair of 4-game series at Gwinnett and Charlotte (White Sox).

a The Red Wings' game vs. Gwinnett tomorrow at 11:05 a.m. (5:05 a.m. in Hawaii) will be broadcast live on Time Warner Cable Sports and simulcast nationally on MLB Network.

a The Red Wings are in the midst of playing 8 straight games against Gwinnett. The club hasn't had that long of a stretch against one team since playing Louisville 8 games in a row June 9-17, 2007.

BASEBALL MONTH IN ROCHESTER: The Red Wings and Monroe County have proclaimed May as "Baseball Month in Rochester." Within those 100 games, the Wings will have 51 contests at Frontier Field, or nearly 64 percent of their home slate remaining. The Red Wings are 15-13 at Frontier Field thus far, including an 11-9 mark as the home team.

STILL GOTTA HAND IT TO 'EM: Despite yesterday's 2-1 loss vs. Gwinnett, t he Red Wings have still won 2 of their last 3 and 4 of their last 6. Rochester has started the season 18-25 for the 2nd year in a row. The 2011 Red Wings would go on to lose their next 3 games.

a The Red Wings are 9-11 in May and are within reach of their first winning calendar month since August 2009, when they went 17-15. Rochester would need to go 7-3 the rest of the way this month to accomplish the feat.

TIME TO RUN WILD: The Red Wings last night were limited to one run, the 7th time they've been held to one or no runs. That total includes 3 shutouts: April 18 at Empire State Yankees (2-0), May 7 at Pawtucket (4-0), and May 12 at Syracuse (11-0). Four of those 7 games have come at Frontier Field. Rochester ranks last in the International League with 130 runs scored, 17 behind Lehigh Valley's (Phillies) 147.
