BOOM GOES THE DYNAMITE: The Red Wings established season highs with 10 runs, 18 hits, and 29 total bases...the Wings tied their season high with 6 extra-base hits...they also homered twice in a game for the first time.
HIGH FIVE: The Wings scored more than 5 runs for just the 4th time...the other 3 occasions; May 10 at Pawtucket (Red Sox) and April 5 at Syracuse (Nationals), May 19 vs. Gwinnett (Braves).
BOOM GOES THE DYNAMITE: The 9-1 win marked the Red Wings' largest margin of victory this season.
WHAT UP, HOMEY?: The Red Wings are 5-2 on the homestand, assuring themselves of their first winning homestand longer than 4 games since going 6-2 vs. Gwinnett (3-1) and Lehigh Valley (3-1) August 10-16, 2010.
HOME SWEET HOME: The Wings improved to 16-13 at Frontier Field, including a 12-9 mark as the home team.
OUT OF HERE: With a 3rd-inning 3-run blast Danny Valencia is tied for the team lead with Michael Hollimon, Pedro Florimon, Rene Rivera and Joe Benson with 2 home runs.
HIT ME WITH YOUR BEST SHOT: Rene Tosoni established a career high with 5 hits... he had just 6 hits in first 57 at bats this year...he is the first Red Wings to collect 5 hits in a game since Wilson Ramos on June 3, 2010 vs. Norfolk (Orioles)
LEADING THE PACK: Matt Carson has hit safely in 15 of his last 16 games, batting .327 (17-for-52)...he leads the team with 42 hits, 14 extra-base hits, 11 doubles, 20 runs scored and 12 RBI.
SEVENTH HEAVEN: Wilken Ramirez has hit safely in each of his 7 games with the Red Wings, batting .355 (11-for-31).
SOMETHING EXTRA: The Red Wings have recorded at least one extra-base hit in 18 consecutive games...the stretch began May 4 at Empire State.
EXTRA! EXTRA!: With a 4th-inning double Rene Rivera picked up his 2nd extra-base hit in his last 3 games...he had just one in his first 21 games with an at bat...hit safely in a season-high 5 straight games, going 7-for-16 (.438).

BASEBALL MONTH IN ROCHESTER: Tonight's Baseball Month in Rochester raffle raised $353...the month-to-date total is $7,217...all money goes to the organizations being hosted in the suite.
