LAWRENCEVILLE, GA. - The Atlanta Braves announced Sunday the trade of Gwinnett Braves infielder Drew Sutton to the Pittsburgh Pirates for cash considerations. Sutton has been replaced on the Gwinnett roster by infielder Lance Zawadzki, signed by the Braves on Monday as a free agent.
Sutton, 28, hit .270 (37-for-137) with 10 doubles, two triples, 19 runs scored and 15 RBI in 38 games for the G-Braves this season.
