Today's Game

Tonight, the Bisons take on the Indians in the second game of a three-game series at Coca-Cola Field (6:05 p.m.). Buffalo lost the first game of the series 8-4 despite a four-hit night from INF ANDY BURNS. Buffalo's homestand continues with four games in three days against Rochester starting Friday.

vs. the Indians

The Herd are 0-1 thus far against the Indians. In 2014, the Bisons went 4-4 against the Indianapolis, taking three of four at Coca-Cola Field. Over the past 10 seasons, Buffalo has gone just 29-51 against the Indians, losing 12 out of the last 20 series.

Andrew Albers

LHP ANDREW ALBERS makes his ninth start of the season today for Buffalo. The lefty enters tonight's matchup with the 9th best ERA in the International league at 2.79. Albers last pitched Thursday in Toledo where he allowed four earned runs over six innings in a no-decision.

Burning Up

INF ANDY BURNS went 4-5 with a run scored and a RBI in last night's contest. Burns has hit in 17 of his last 19 games, good for a .317 (26-82) average since May 6. During the stretch, he has seven doubles, one home run and 11 RBI.

Matt Hague

On Monday, INF MATT HAGUE was named the International League Batter of the Week for the period between May 18-24. Hague went 12-29 (.414) with eight doubles, nine RBI, and four runs scored in that time. He currently leads the IL in hits (58), doubles (15), RBI (31). He also ranks 2nd with a .345 batting average and a .421 on-base pct.

Luke Scott

INF LUKE SCOTT has hit in seven of his nine games with the Bisons since being signed by Toronto. The veteran is hitting .297 (11-37) with five doubles and five RBI for the Herd. Scott had three hits in last night's loss to Indy, his second three-hit game already for the Bisons.

Pitching Staff

The Bisons' pitching continues to dominate opposing hitters. Buffalo's team ERA of 2.67 is almost a third of a run better than any other team in the league (Norfolk, 2.93). Opponents have hit just .239 against Herd pitching with only 17 home runs in 1,496 at-bats.

Blue Jays Update

The Blue Jays (21-26) shut-out the Chicago White Sox Monday night 6-0. Drew Hutchinson threw a complete game gem, allowing four hits and striking out eight. Justin Smoak and Josh Donaldson each hit a home run for Toronto. The Blue Jays play their second game vs Chicago tonight. (7:07 p.m.)
