Today's Game

Tonight, the Buffalo Bisons host the Charlotte Knights for the third game of a four-game series at Coca-Cola Field (7:05 p.m.). The clubs were off yesterday after the Herd swept the doubleheader on Thursday, 7-3 and 4-2. Following this series against the Knights, Buffalo will depart on a seven-game roadtrip to Lehigh Valley and Syracuse.

Buffalo took the first two games of this series, sweeping Charlotte in a doubleheader on Thursday. Last year, the Herd went 7-1 against the Knights, including a 4-0 sweep at Coca-Cola Field (May 1-4). The Bisons have now won the last seven games against Charlotte in Buffalo, dating back to the 2013 season.

Daniel Norris

LHP DANIEL NORRIS will make his eighth start of the season in this evening's game. The southpaw lost his fourth straight on Monday against Scranton/Wilkes-Barre despite five innings of two-run baseball. The Herd has scored just four total runs in support of Norris over the last four games. Norris has not allowed more than three earned runs in a start for Buffalo this season.

Matt Hague

INF MATT HAGUE'S International League-best batting average of .346 is 13 points better than any hitter in the league. The veteran also leads the IL in hits (79), doubles (18) on-base percentage (.421) and total bases (112). The slugger also leads the Bisons with 24 multi-hit games (23), including three in his last six starts.

Rob Rasmussen

LHP ROB RASMUSSEN earned his fourth win out of the Bisons bullpen in game two on Thursday. The southpaw has allowed just four hits in his last 10 outings (13.2 IP), throwing shutout baseball since May 16. With his time in Buffalo in 2013, Rasmussen has now thrown 71.0 innings as a Bison without allowing a home run.

LHP RANDY WOLF won his Bisons' team high fifth game on Thursday, tossing his first complete game since September 17, 2010 in San Francisco while pitching for the Brewers...On Friday, the Blue Jays selected the contract of LHP PHIL COKE from the Bisons. Coke made three scoreless appearances out of the Herd bullpen (4.0 IP).

Blue Jays Update

The red-hot Blue Jays (32-30) won their ninth straight on Friday, 13-10 over Boston. Toronto trailed by as much as seven before scoring nine runs in the 7th inning, highlighted by Russell Martin's three-run double. The Blue Jays are just two games out of 1st place as the face the Red Sox at 1:35 p.m.
