TODAY'S GAME: Tonight, the Buffalo Bisons face the Toledo Mud Hens in the second game of a four-game series at Fifth Third Field (7:00 p.m.). The Herd fell in defeat, 5-2, last night in the opening game of the series and its eight-game roadtrip. Buffalo will also visit Columbus, June 5-8. The Bisons are 14-13 in road games this season.

FIFTH THIRD WOES: The Bisons loss in Toledo last night marked their 12th defeat in the last 13 games at Fifth Third Field. Buffalo was swept by the Mud Hens at their home in both 2009 and 2010 and won just one of four games last year. Toledo visits Coca-Cola Field from July 16-19 this year.

OLSON: LHP GARRETT OLSON makes his 12th appearance and 11th start for the Bisons tonight. The southpaw allowed a season-high 10 hits in a five-inning no-decision on May 26 against Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. Olson ranks second on the Bisons with 54 strikeouts. He's punched out five or more batters in each of his last five games. He fanned 10 batters in his last start away from Coca-Cola Field, May 11 in Charlotte (ND, 6.2IP, 4H, R).

SILKY: INF JOSH SATIN homered and scored a pair of runs last night. The slugger has hit in four straight with a .400 average (6-15). In his last 14 games, Satin has hit .348 (16-46) with 14 walks and seven runs scored. He leads all Bisons hitters with 10 doubles and is second with 13 extra-base hits.

STARTING STRONG: The Bisons starting rotation have delivered five consecutive quality starts. Since May 28, the starters have yielded just 15 total hits in 30.0 innings of work. The group has posted a 2.10ERA with 10 walks and 17 strikeouts over that span. However, the lone starter during the streak to pick up a victory was RHP DYLAN OWEN on May 28 against Columbus.

BISONS NOTES: C ROB JOHNSON was optioned by the Mets last night. He is expected to join the club in Toledo...RHP MANNY ACOSTA has accepted his assignment and will also join the Bisons soon. He was 1-2 with an 11.86ERA in 19 appearances with New York...The Bisons rank in the IL's top three in both hitting (T1st, .267) and pitching (3rd, 3.32)

METS UPDATE : History was made at Citi Field last night as LHP JOHAN SANTANA threw the first no-hitter in Mets history. The southpaw walked five and struck out eight in an 8-0 win over the Cardinals. Santana tossed a career-high 134 pitches to complete is historic feat. OF LUCAS DUDA homered and drove in four to give Santana plenty of offense to work with. The Mets host the Cards today at 4:10 p.m.
