ROCHESTER, NY - The Rochester Red Wings will celebrate Baseball Month in Rochester one final time during tonight's doubleheader with the Columbus Clippers (Indians). The first game starts at 5:05 p.m. and gates open at 4:00 p.m. Baseball Month in Rochester concluded Thursday after 29 games in 25 days in May at Frontier Field. The Red Wings and Monroe County on April 30 proclaimed May as Baseball Month in Rochester.

WHAT: Baseball Month in Rochester celebration, which includes:

Tribute for Joe Altobelli's 80th birthday (fans invited onto field to enjoy cake after post-game fireworks show presented by ESL Federal Credit Union)

Giveaway of a 2012 Toyota Camry presented by Hoselton Toyota (after doubleheader, prior to post-game fireworks)

Check presentations to local not-for-profit organizations benefitting from month-long raffles and Mustache Madness collection bins (between games)

Presentation of winning Baseball Month in Rochester essay from Sean Hanna of Rochester (between games)

Raffle for a three-foot by five-foot Baseball Month in Rochester sign, autographed by members of the eight teams that played at Frontier Field in May

The Red Wings in 2012 are sharing Frontier Field with the Empire State Yankees while their home of PNC Field in Moosic, Pa., undergoes a season-long renovation. The final attendance for Baseball Month in Rochester is 90,597, including 89,386 for the 27 Red Wings and Yankees games and 1,211 for the two high school matchups.

The Red Wings partnered with Monroe County and Frontier Field to host a local not-for-profit organization in a complimentary suite during every game of Baseball Month in Rochester. Raffles for autographed memorabilia were held on each of the 25 days during Baseball Month in Rochester, and the $8,380 raised will be donated to the not-for-profit groups that were hosted in the suite.

Money raised from tonight's raffle for the Baseball Month in Rochester logo will benefit Golisano Children's Hospital in Rochester.
