Today's Game
This evening, the Bisons take on the Syracuse Chiefs in the third game of their four game series (6:05 p.m.). Following Thursday morning's game, Buffalo will travel to Rochester for a 6-game series May 25-28. Buffalo will begin to make-up their previously postponed games, with two being completed in Rochester. The Herd will then return to Coca-Cola Field to host the Columbus Clippers and Charlotte Knights for a three game series each (May 29-31, June 1-3).

The Bisons' won 5-4 on Tuesday night. RHP Conor Fisk collected his second win on the mound pitching 4.0 innings of relief and allowing no runs while striking out three. A pair of 2R HR's in the second inning helped the Buffalo offense. INF Lourdes Gurriel Jr. hit his second home run of the season in the frame, along with INF Gift Ngoepe. All 6 hits for the Herd were for extra bases (3 2B, 2 HR, 3B).
Today's Starter: LHP Ryan Borucki
LHP Ryan Borucki takes the mound tonight for the eighth time this season. In his last outing, the lefty tossed 7.0IP with 6 strikeouts allowing just 3 hits. Borucki looks to pick up his fourth win of the season.
Syracuse (6-0)
The Bisons and Chiefs will play a total of 18 times this season. Buffalo swept the first series of the season between the two teams at Coca-Cola Field. Following this series, the Herd will travel up the 90 June 29-30 and July 1 to take on the Chiefs in Syracuse. The Herd will host Syracuse next July 6-8 for a three game series.
Gift Ngoepe
3B Gift Ngoepe extended his hitting streak to three games going 2 for 3 in yesterdays victory with a 2R home run and a triple. Ngoepe helped secure the win for the Herd with 3 RBI.
Lourdes Gurriel Jr.
INF Lourdes Gurriel Jr. hit his first home run of the season in the second inning on Tuesday. Gurriel Jr. also added 2 RBI to contribute to the Bisons victory. In addition to his performance at the plate, Gurriel Jr. showed off his fielding skills turning a double play in the fifth inning.
Bisons Bits
The Bisons' pitching staff has a combined ERA of 2.84 in the month of May, second to Lehigh Valley (2.27)...Buffalo is now 16-3 when scoring 4 or more runs this season and 17-3 when outhitting its opponent... Buffalo is 16-0 when leading after the eighth inning...With the win on Tuesday, the Bisons are now 6-0 against the Syracuse Chiefs.

INF Tim Lopes .330 batting average ranks second in the International League, trailing Lehigh Valley's Joey Meneses (.352).
Blue Jays Update
Toronto (23-25) defeated the Angels in the first game of a three game series by a score of 5-3. INF Devon Travis turned a double play in his first appearance for Toronto. DH Kendrys Morales added a home run to help secure the victory. Tonight RHP Aaron Sanchez makes the start in the middle game of the series at Rogers Centre (7:07 p.m.). After their series with the Angels, the Blue Jays will fly to Philadelphia for a 3 game interleague series starting on Friday.
