BUFFALO BISONS (1-1, T-3rd, -1.0 North) vs. SCRANTON/WILKES-BARRE RAILRIDERS (1-1, T-3rd, -1.0 North)

RHP Sean Reid-Foley (NR) vs. RHP Chance Adams (NR)

Today's Game

This afternoon Buffalo looks to rebound from their first loss of the season. Right hander Sean Reid-Foley will make his 2019 Bisons debut, after making one start with Toronto to begin his season. This is the third game of a four-game series to begin the year, and part of an overall seven-game homestand.

Last Game: BUF 1, S/W-B 6

The RailRiders offense struck for two runs in the opening inning off of Bisons starter Shawn Morimando. However, RHP Dusty Isaacs struck out seven straight hitters over his three innings of relief. Andy Burns scored the lone Herd run with a solo home run in the bottom of the seventh inning. Scranton/Wilkes-Barre would tack on four more runs late in the win.

Scranton/Wilkes-Barre (1-1)

The Bisons went 8-8 in against the principal affiliate of the New York Yankees last season. The two teams each went 5-3 at home, including wins for the Herd in two of the last three meetings at then Coca-Cola Field from August 21-23.

Today's Starter

Sean Reid-Foley takes the hill for the first time with Buffalo in 2019. The righty spent the majority of the 2018 campaign with the Herd, going 7-5 with a 3.90 ERA. He was named the team's Warren Spahn Most Valubale Pitcher for last season, and made his MLB debut for Toronto on August 13th.

Andy Burns

Andy Burns clubbed his first home run of the season last night in the team's 6-1 loss. It was the infielder's first Triple-A home run since August 29, 2016 vs. Lehigh Valley. Burns spent the 2017 and '18 seasons in the Korean Baseball Organization.

Dusty Isaacs

Reliever Dusty Isaacs delivered three shutout innings for the Herd on Friday night. He became just the second pitcher in the Bisons' modern era to record seven straight strikeouts, when he set the last seven down he faced on strikes. Jason Bere had 11 straight strikeouts while on a Major League rehab assignment with Buffalo on May 17, 2003.

Blue Jays Update

Toronto (3-6) lost for a second straight night to the Cleveland Indians. Carlos Santana's solo home run in the bottom of the 9th inning capped off a 3-2 walk-off win for Cleveland. RHP Trent Thornton delivered 5.2 IP in the start for the Blue Jays. Through two starts, Thornton is 0-0 with a 1.69 ERA. This afternoon LHP Thomas Pannone takes the bump for Toronto against RHP Carlos Carrasco at 4:10 p.m.
