Ben Francisco doubled and homered in his first game back with the Bisons, but it wasn't enough as the Herd fell to the Braves, 7-5, Thursday afternoon from Disney, FL.
Playing in his first game after being optioned by Cleveland on Tuesday, Francisco went 2-5 with a double, a home run and two runs scored. Catcher David Wallace also homered while first baseman Ryan Mulhern went 2-3 with two RBI.
Adam Miller made his second Spring start for the Herd and earned a no-decision. He allowed four runs (three earned) in six innings of work. He also struck out four and walked none.
Mariano Gomez (0-1) took the loss, allowing two runs in one inning of work.
