WINGS SPRING THINGS On Thursday the Minnesota Twins reassigned outfielder Josh Rabe to Minor League camp. Righthanded pitched J.D. Durbin has been claimed off waivers by the Arizona Diamondbacks. Rabe will remain in Major League camp through Saturday. Durbin, 25, was drafted by the Twins in the second round of the 2000 First-Year Player draft....On Wednesday Minnesota optioned righthanded pitcher Matt Garza to Triple-A Rochester. Garza was 0-0, 1.50 (12.0 ip, 2 er), allowing nine hits with five walks and seven strikeouts in six appearances (one start) this spring. The move puts Garza in the starting rotation mix with LHP Glen Perkins and Dave Gassner, and RHP Scott Baker, Kevin Slowey and Jeremy Cummings...On Tuesday the Twins reassigned the foll! owing players to Minor League camp: lefthanded pitcher Mike Venafro, catchers Brad King and Matthew LeCroy and infielders Tommy Watkins and Glenn Williams.

Myers on a rehab assignment if needed. Ford is expected to be ready for action in three weeks.
