SYRACUSE (NY) - Thirteen Minor League teams with new logos for the 2007 season were critiqued in the latest issue of Baseball America and the Chiefs' new logo was rated as one of "The Best New Logos".
Baseball America had this to say about the Chiefs' new logo.
The Syracuse franchise is all about tradition and stability, and this new logo brings a needed facelift while going back to the classic Chiefs name.

The Best: Burlington Bees, Spokane Indians, Lakeland Flying Tigers, Syracuse Chiefs
The Worst: Scranton/Wilkes- Barre Yankees, Great Lake Loons, Vero Beach Devil Rays, Burlington Royals
The Rest: Sacramento River Cats, Cedar Rapid Kernels, Myrtle Beach Pelicans, New Britain Rock Cats, Boise Hawks.
