Buffalo Bisons News Release

The Buffalo Bisons have announced the following update to tonight's action between the Herd and the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders at Coca-Cola Field.

The game that was suspended last night due to rain will be restarted Wednesday, August 22 at 6:00 p.m. At the restart, the Bisons will have Gunnar Heidt on second base and Darnell Sweeney at the plate facing a 1-0 pitch. The game will be played until it's conclusion, which if the Bisons don't score in the bottom of the ninth inning, will include the league's new extra inning rule starting in the top of the 10th inning.

The Bisons and RailRiders will then play a full nine-inning contest starting no earlier than the originally scheduled 7:05 p.m. (UPDATED). Should the conclusion of the first game near that scheduled first time, game two would begin 30 minutes after the ending of the (just not earlier than 7:05 p.m.).

Wednesday's "doubleheader" will be single-admission, meaning fans will need just one ticket to watch both games.

All gates will open at 5:30 p.m., including a new open time for the Oak St. Gate for the team's scheduled 'Mystery Ball Night' to benefit the Hillside Family of Agencies.
