MONTGOMERY, AL - Desmond Jennings scored from second base with the game-winning run in the bottom of the ninth inning on a Rashad Eldridge infield-single to give the Biscuits a wild, 6-5, victory over the Jacksonville Suns in game three of a five-game series on Monday night at Riverwalk Stadium.

The game went to the bottom of the ninth inning tied, 5-5, as Chris Leroux entered in relief for Jacksonville. Jennings led off the inning with a flare-single to right field and was sacrificed to second base by Brandon Chaves. The Suns elected to intentionally walk Rhyne Hughes before Fernando Cortez struck out. With two outs, Eldridge smacked a hard-hit ball to the right of second baseman Chris De La Cruz, that he couldn't grab cleanly. As it trickled a couple feet away from him, Jennings galloped home from second for the Biscuits win.

The Biscuits had taken a 5-4 lead to the top of the ninth and inserted Neal Frontz to attempt to nail down the game. Frontz conceded back-to-back doubles to Lee Mitchell and Kevin Randel however, allowing the Suns to tie the game. Frontz (1-0) was credited with the win as the Biscuits won in the ninth. Leroux (1-1) was charged with his first loss of the season.

Jacksonville scored two runs in the first inning off of Heath Rollins to take an early 2-0 lead. Both runs were unearned due to two errors in the inning.

Montgomery came back with three runs in the second off of Jacksonville starter Willie Glen. Glen permitted singles to both Matt Spring and Drew Anderson before Jennings crushed his third home run of the season to left field to put the Biscuits in front.

The Suns tied it in the third with the only earned run of the night allowed by Rollins. Scott Cousins walked to start the inning and advanced to third base on a double by Lee Mitchell. Kevin Randel followed with an RBI groundout to even the score, 3-3.

Jacksonville then grabbed the lead in a see-saw affair when Bryan Petersen tripled off of rehabbing right-hander Jason Isringhausen in the seventh inning. Cousins brought him in with a sacrifice fly for a 4-3 lead.

Three walks, a Cortez double and a wild pitch gave the Biscuits the lead back in the bottom of the eighth, as Cortez and Eldridge scored for a 5-4 advantage.

Game four of the series is schedule for 10:35 AM at Riverwalk Stadium. LHP Ryan Morse (0-3, 7.59) will make the start for Montgomery against LHP Aaron Thompson (1-1, 2.81) for Jacksonville.
