BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Birmingham Squadron exacted revenge for Friday night's loss at the Delaware Blue Coats with a 115-111 Saturday night victory at Chase Fieldhouse.
Malcolm Hill, the NBA G League's leading scorer on the season, once again led Birmingham (14-16) in scoring with 26 points to go along with nine rebounds. Guard Jalen Crutcher scored 22 on 7-of-10 shooting from the field, including a 4-of-5 mark from behind the three-point arc.
Delaware's (18-11) Terquavion Smith paced the Blue Coats in scoring for the second consecutive night against the Squadron, this time with 26 off the bench. Aminu Mohammed led Delaware with nine rebounds on the night.
Birmingham now heads back to the Magic City to play host to the Eastern Conference leader Osceola Magic (18-9) for games Tuesday and Thursday, with tip-off of each set for 7 p.m. from Legacy Arena at the BJCC.
