
Vipers Split Series with Clippers

EDINBURG, Texas - The Rio Grande Valley Vipers (15-12), the NBA G League affiliate of the Houston Rockets, faced a 117-102 loss to the Ontario Clippers (14-15) on Saturday night at Bert Ogden Arena.
Ontario opened the game on a hot streak while going on a 15-0 run. The Clippers continued to dominate as the first half progressed and sent the game into an intermission with a 61-48 lead.
In the second half the Vipers attempted to close in on the Clippers, but the opposing team always pulled away. The Clippers kept the pace going until the end of the game which earned the team a 117-102 victory.
Josh Reaves finished with 20 points. Houston Rockets Two-Way Jermaine Samuels hit a double-double with 19 points and 10 rebounds. Jarrett Culver put up 12 points.
LA Clippers Two-Way Jordan Miller had a double-double with 32 points and 12 rebounds. LA Clippers assignee Kobe Brown contributed 25 points followed by LA Clippers assignee Josh Primo with 18 points.
