Bird Transferred to Danville, O'Neal Returns to Carolina

ZEBULON, NC - The Atlanta Braves announced several player transactions today with two affecting the Carolina Mudcats active roster. The roster moves included the transfer of RHP Zack Bird from the Carolina Mudcats to the Danville Braves and the transfer of LHP Michael O'Neal from the Danville Braves to the Carolina Mudcats.

The Mudcats roster is currently at 25 active players with five on the disabled list.

In summary:

6/15 - RHP Zack Bird transferred from Carolina to Danville.

6/15 - LHP Michael O'Neal transferred from Danville to Carolina.

The Carolina Mudcats are the Class A Advanced affiliate of the Atlanta Braves. First established in 1991, the two-time Southern League Champion Carolina Mudcats are in their 26th consecutive season of baseball at Five County Stadium in Zebulon, N.C.
