After scoring double-digit runs for the first time in a month in last night's 11-4 win, the Potomac Nationals (31-32) look to take the series in the rubber match vs. the Salem Red Sox (41-24). Potomac won the lone series between the two squads as home and aims to cap off the first half road schedule at 19-16 with a victory.

This evening, the P-Nats turn to RHP Boone Whiting (6-2, 3.26). Whiting was named the most recent Carolina League Pitcher of the Week, as in his last start, the righty allowed only two hits over 6.2 innings of shutout baseball vs. Frederick. Opposite Whiting, LHP Daniel McGrath (1-2, 4.88) will make just his sixth start of the season. The Australian southpaw spent nearly six weeks of the first half on the Salem DL.

First pitch of the series finale at LewisGale Field is set for 7:05pm.
