Binghamton Senators News Release
BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The Binghamton Senators, in conjunction with the Binghamton Hockey Hall of Fame, announced today that Mike Dunham and Glenn Merkosky have been selected for enshrinement to the Binghamton Hockey Hall of Fame as the Class of 2009.
"On behalf of the Hall of Fame committee and current members, we're proud to have Mike Dunham and Glenn Merkosky as the newest members of the Binghamton Hockey Hall of Fame," said B-Sens executive vice president of operations, Tom Mitchell. "Both men excelled on the ice and they've added to the great hockey tradition here in Greater Binghamton."
Dunham and Merkosky will be formally inducted on Hall of Fame Night, Friday, March 13, in an ice-level ceremony prior to the B-Sens game against the Norfolk Admirals. Both inductees will be present for the ceremony.
In addition, the B-Sens will host a Hall of Fame reception with the Class of 2009 inductees in the Arena Club (third floor of the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena) from 5 - 6:30 p.m.
Hall of Fame reception tickets are $15 each and can be purchased at the B-Sens executive office. The reception will include appetizers and a cash bar, along with a meet and greet with the newest members of the Binghamton Hockey Hall of Fame. A limited number of reception tickets will be sold.
In celebration of the Class of 2009 and Hall of Fame Night, the B-Sens will wear Binghamton Hockey Hall of Fame jerseys against Norfolk. The jerseys will feature both inductees' names on a special jersey patch.
