Ralston, NE - Michael Bigelbach scored 1:36 into the game for the Omaha Lancers, however, three-straight goals by the Tri-City Storm propelled the visitors to a 3-1 victory in front of 2,858 fans at Ralston Arena on Saturday night.

Omaha scored the only goal of the first period just 1:36 into the game. Austin Lemieux and Brian Williams worked the puck in the offensive zone before sending it out to Michael Bigelbach just inside the blue line. After receiving the pass, Bigelbach fired a slap shot that sailed through traffic and by the glove of Tri-City's goaltender Dayton Rasmussen for the 1-0 lead. It was Bigelbach's first goal of the year with assists from Lemieux and Williams. With the assist, Lemieux collected his third point while Williams recorded his 12th.

In the second period, Tri-City score two-straight to take a one-goal lead through two periods of play. After an original save by Lancers goaltender Zackarias Skog, the puck bounced to the top of the crease and players gathered to try and gain possession. Walker Duehr waited to the right of the net and punched in the puck to tie the game, 1-1. With the goal, Duehr picked up his second of the year and it came at 11:41 of the period.

With under one minute to go in the same period, the power play struck for the Storm to take a 2-1 lead. As Michael Joyaux sat in the penalty box, Dan Labosky took the puck and moved from the right wing wall to the front of the net. As he reached the top of the crease, Labosky sent the puck under the pads of Skog for his fourth of the year with 47.8 seconds to go. Assists on Labosky's goal were credited to Alex Limoges and Jack McNeely.

Wade Allison had a four-goal weekend for the Storm, including the insurance goal in the third period. Allison took the puck down right wing side and sent a hard wrist shot over the shoulder of Skog and just under the cross bar for a 3-1 lead 6:08 into the final period. The goal was Allison's 10th of the season, unassisted.

Omaha pulled Skog late for the extra-attacker but the Storm held on for the 3-1 victory. In his sixth regulation loss of the year, Skog stopped 18 of 21.

The Lancers return home after the Christmas break on Sunday, December 27th to host the Lincoln Stars at 5:05 p.m. Can't make it?
