
Big Weekend In Community For Sound Tigers

BRIDGEPORT, CT â The American Hockey League's Bridgeport Sound Tigers, top affiliate of the National Hockey League's New York Islanders, will make appearances in Bridgeport, Norwalk, Milford and Stamford this weekend.
The Team Mascot Storm will join On-ice Announcer Dave and The Zambonis for the second-annual SweetPort Music and Arts Festival on McLevy Green in downtown Bridgeport tomorrow, Friday, September 10th, at 7 p.m. SweetPort is run by The Bridgeport Downtown Special Services District.
The Sound Tigers will have an information table and setup the Tiger Tunnel at the Norwalk Oyster Festival this Friday through Sunday. Fans can visit the Sound Tigers table and the Tiger Tunnel Friday from 5 p.m. until 11 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. until 11 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. until the end of the festival at 9 p.m.
Storm will take part in the opening ceremony for the American Cancer Society's "Relay For Life" at Jonathan Law High School in Milford this Saturday at 2 p.m. Storm will also appear at the "Friendship Cup" Family Skate at the Twin Rinks in Stamford this Sunday from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m.

The Sound Tigers will open the 2004-05 season on Saturday, October 16th when they host the Albany River Rats at 7:05 p.m. at Bridgeport's Arena at Harbor Yard.
