TEAM NOTES
Goalkeeper Carlos Miguel Coronel stood strong in net today, saving a penalty kick in the second minute of first-half stoppage time and then saving the rebound attempt. Coronel also made eight total saves in the match.
Steel FC had four players make their first starts for Steel FC, with three of those players making their first professional starts. Cole Turner, Nathan Harriel and Jack de Vries all made their first-career starts, while Philadelphia Union goalkeeper Carlos Miguel Coronel made his first start for Steel FC.
Philadelphia Union Academy player Patrick Bohui became the youngest player to ever make an appearance for Steel FC, coming on as a second-half substitute in the 62nd minute. Bohui now holds the record at 15 years, three months and 13 days. Michael Pellegrino still holds the record for youngest player to start in a match for Steel FC.
Tonight's match was the first regular-season match played by Steel FC in Talen Energy Stadium in the club's history.
Steel FC plays next on Sunday, March 24, hosting Memphis 901 FC at Talen Energy Stadium (6:00 p.m. ET/ESPN+).
