Beloit Sky Carp News Release
Beloit took a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the second after a Chris Brown solo home run. Burlington came back to tie the game 1-1 after scoring a run in the fourth. Deacon Burns tripled and scored on a passed ball to give Beloit a 2-1 advantage. Burlington used three home runs to score three runs in the sixth and two in the seventh as they took a 6-2 lead the distance for the win. David Shinskie took the loss for Beloit. Landon Burt was 3 for 4 to lead the Snappers offense.
