PORTLAND, Ore- Dennis Tankersley pitched eight solid innings while Jermaine Clark and Mark Quinn each went 3 for 4 as the Beavers (33-28) won their third straight, 5-0 before a Thirsty Thursday crowd of 9,619 at PGE Park.

In eight innings of work, Tankersley (3-6) allowed no runs on five hits and struck out six with one walk. The Beavers' offense gave Tankersley plenty of support, registering 10 or more hits in their third-straight game.

The third inning saw Tankersley hit a single up the middle before Castro and Clark both laid down bunts to load the bases. Bozied then hit a potential double-play ball to short, but Olson bobbled it, sending Tankersley home and making it a 2-0 ballgame. Wiki Gonzalez later drew a walk with the bases loaded to score Clark and up the lead to 3-0.

After Donaldo Mendez singled up the middle in the fourth, Clark hit a single and advanced to third on an error, sending Mendez home and sending the Beavers on their way to a third-consecutive win.

Mark Quinn added a run in the seventh on an RBI double that scored Jermaine Clark.

Mike Gosling (3-7) got the loss for Tucson (24-34), giving five runs, four earned on ten hits in 6.1 innings.
