West Sacramento, Calif. - The Portland Beavers defeated the Sacramento River Cats, 8-2, in 10 innings on Saturday night at Raley Field. The game marked the third consecutive day that the River Cats and Beavers played an extra-inning affair. Portland led the game, 2-0, entering the bottom of the 8th inning, when Jason Perry's 2-run single tied the score and eventually forced extra innings. Sacramento committed a team season-high 4 errors on the night, 2 by third baseman Hiram Bocachica.
