Tacoma, WA - In Game #1 of their five game series the Portland Beavers took down Tacoma Rainiers 7-1 this evening at Cheney Stadium. Beaver hitters didn't waste anytime getting to Rainiers starter Andy Baldwin putting up two runs in the first and spreading out 10 hits over the game. Game #2 of the series will be tomorrow at 7:00 pm.
