Beast to Host Second Annual Game Between Peel Regional Police and Brampton Fire
November 16, 2015 - ECHL (ECHL)
Brampton Beast News Release
BRAMPTON, ON - The Brampton Beast are excited to announce the second annual charity hockey game between the Peel Regional Police and Brampton Fire, set to take place on Sunday, November 22 at 12:00 PM, immediately preceding the Beast's own matinee game against the Fort Wayne Komets at 2:00 PM.
Fans attending the game are asked to bring new socks with them in support of Regeneration's Sock Drive. Regen Brampton is a community outreach program that offers a variety of services to the homeless and the less fortunate. With the cold winter months looming, many individuals may require a little extra something to keep warm and every pair of socks can go a long way in helping support the cause.
Two of Brampton's finest emergency services will be on display at the Powerade Centre as Brampton Fire hopes to avenge last year's loss to the Police.
With both teams deadlocked in a 4-4 tie following three periods, the game came to a thrilling end in overtime as the Peel Regional Police won the game with a goal just over a minute into the extra period, taking home the bragging rights.
Both Brampton Fire and Peel Regional Police are active organizations in the local community and will be using this charity game to help raise awareness to a variety of community organizations.
Ticket packages for Sunday afternoon's games include a ticket to the Peel Police vs. Brampton Fire game at 12:00 PM as well as a ticket to watch the Beast take on the Fort Wayne Komets at 2:00 PM. Ticket packages are only $20. If you buy one ticket package, you will receive a second package free, courtesy of Rice Development.
Ticket packages are available now. To purchase your ticket package, please visit BramptonBeast.com or call the Beast office at 905-564-1684.
