Hershey Bears News Release

It's the beginning of three games in as many nights for HERSHEY, as the club heads to Broome County tonight to face the Senators.

Binghamton begins the weekend in last place in the East Division, and Dave Cameron's club is still adjusting to life without talented offensive forward Brandon Bochenski. The second-year pro was traded by Ottawa at the NHL's trading deadline to Chicago for Tyler Arnason. Tonight's game is the sixth of eight meetings between the two teams, with the Senators visiting GIANT Center this Sunday afternoon at 5:00 p.m. HERSHEY has won four of the previous encounters. In addition to the pair of games with Binghamton this weekend, the BEARS will also host the Senators on Saturday, April 15. The final meeting between the two teams in 2005-06 also represents the 80th and final game of the regular campaign for HERSHEY.

The BEARS this week received Boyd Gordon back from the Washington Capitals and also have amateur tryout Stephen Werner available beginning with tonight's game in New York. HERSHEY looks tonight for the club's 39th win of the season, which would tie last year's total with 11 games still remaining.

Tonight's game can be heard via the BEARS Radio Network (100.1 FM, 1490-AM, 960-AM). John Walton has the call of the action beginning with the pregame show at 6:45 p.m. HERSHEY will then host the Albany River Rats Saturday night at 7:00 p.m. before welcoming Binghamton to town Sunday at 5:00 p.m. Tickets are available at the GIANT Center box office, or by calling (717) 508-BEAR.
