The HERSHEY BEARS Hockey Club wraps up 2010 with four games this week, including a visit by the Binghamton Senators Tuesday and the Syracuse Crunch on New Year ¬â¢s Eve. HERSHEY will also venture to Pittsburgh on Thursday to face Wilkes-Barre/Scranton at Consol Energy Center as part of events leading up to the NHL Winter Classic this Saturday between Washington and Pittsburgh.
In addition to Binghamton and Syracuse visiting, the Norfolk Admirals return to Giant Center Sunday at 5:00 p.m. Tickets for this week ¬â¢s games are available now at the Giant Center box office, or by calling (717) 508-BEAR.
Gordon scores first NHL goal: Right wing Andrew Gordon had a holiday season he ¬â¢ll never forget. Gordon, who leads HERSHEY in goals with 16, scored his first NHL goal December 21 for Washington against New Jersey at Verizon Center. Gordon remains on recall to the Capitals as the new week begins.
First game in the win column: It took 31 games of 2010-11, but the BEARS and Norfolk Admirals finally met for the first time Sunday, with HERSHEY winning 3-1.
