B&B Lightning Protection Selected as OnDeck's Small Business of the Month

B&B Lightning Protection, located in Trenton, New Jersey, has been selected as the "OnDeck Small Business of the Month." The company's Project Manager and Partner Ben Christensen will be honored by the Thunder prior to their Sunday, August 23 game against the Richmond Flying Squirrels.

OnDeck launched the Small Business of the Month Award program in partnership with Minor League Baseball to recognize small businesses that are making a positive impact in their local communities.

Founded in 2011, Christensen started B&B Lightning Protection with his partner from the ground up after a lightning protection company he was working for closed. B&B Lightning Protection currently has ten employees and performs approximately 30 to 40 projects monthly.

B&B Lightning Protection installs lightning protection systems on commercial and residential building in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Virgina, Connecticut and Massachusetts. The company works with clients such as SEPTA, Merck and Bristol-Myers Squibb.

OnDeck funds gave B&B Lightning Protection the boost the needed to expand their marketing and grow their business. Because of its centralized location in New Jersey, B&B Lightning Protection is able to remain close to its customers and serve them in a timely manner.
