Binghamton Rumble Ponies News Release
BINGHAMTON, NY - The Binghamton Mets' game against the Richmond Flying Squirrels was canceled due to inclement weather Thursday night at NYSEG Stadium. The contest will not be made up, as this was the last scheduled meeting between the two teams in 2015.
It marks Binghamton's fifth rain out of the season and the first that won't be made up. These two teams were postponed Tuesday because of rain, causing them to play a doubleheader Wednesday. The series is concluded, with Binghamton winning one of the two games.
The B-Mets (66-55) will now head to New Hampshire to play four games in three days, beginning Friday night at 7:05 PM. RHP Gabriel Ynoa will start for Binghamton against RHP Austin Bibens-Dirkx. The Horizons Federal Credit Union Pregame Show can be heard starting at 6:50 on Newsradio 1290 WNBF and the Binghamton Mets channel on TuneIn.
