BOWIE, Md. - The Bowie Baysox are excited to host their first ever Rock Paper Scissors Tournament Thursday, May 14, and A Day At The Races Saturday, May 16. The Baysox will face the Erie SeaWolves on both dates with both games starting at 7:05 p.m.
The Baysox will kick off a seven-game home stand with the first ever Rock, Paper, Scissors Tournament on May 14. The tournament will be held on the suite level of Prince George's Stadium at 6 p.m. Registration for the tournament costs $20 and includes entrance in the tournament, a ticket to the game and a two-hour all-you-can-eat buffet! The champion will take home a fabulous Baysox prize. Space in the tournament is limited; please call Lauren Phillips at (301) 464-4813 to register by Friday, May 8.
Just two days later, the Baysox will host A Day At The Races. Fans can catch the 134th running of the Preakness at the ballpark! For just $25, fans will get early access to the stadium, a two hour all-you-can-eat buffet and a ticket to the Baysox game!
The Baysox will open gates at 4:30 p.m. for fans with a ticket to A Day At The Races. The event will be held on the Patuxent Deck on the suite level of the stadium. All the races will be on TV and the Baysox will add to the excitement by having staff members compete in Pony Hops races on the field. Fans can guess the winners for a chance to win prizes! Fans can also predict Win, Place, Show and Trifecta for the Preakness to win prizes! Tickets for A Day At The Races must be purchased by Wednesday, May 13. The two-hour buffets for both events include grilled all-beef hot dogs, pulled barbecue chicken sandwiches, potato chips and coleslaw.
The Baysox 17th season as the class AA affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles is underway! Don't miss a moment of the action as the Baysox attempt to bring home their first Eastern League championship.
