Altoona Curve News Release
Shawn Conrad threw a gem as Bishop Guilfoyle won the first quarterfinal game of the Curve Classic 2-1, at Blair County Ballpark. Conrad tossed a complete game giving up one run on five hits and 12 strikeouts.
Cambria Starter John Fees also had a strong outing going all six innings giving up two runs on six hits with nine strikeouts.
Bishop Guilfoyle will now play in the first semifinal game tomorrow at 3:00 p.m. Cambria will be in action tomorrow at 10:00 a.m.
