Baysox Bring Back Beer Dinners

BOWIE, Md. - The Bowie Baysox and Harpoon Brewery have teamed up for the first Beer Dinner of the season at Prince George's Stadium on Thursday, May 13, before the team takes on the Erie SeaWolves at 7:05 p.m. The monthly event takes place in the Diamond View Restaurant and includes a two-hour all-you-can-eat buffet and a three-hour unlimited open bar.

The climate-controlled Diamond View Restaurant is the perfect place to enjoy the event. Fans can watch the game from either the air-conditioned interior or from seats on a deck outside the restaurant. Perched on top of the Press Box behind home plate, the restaurant provides a great view of all the action on the field.

The open bar is available from 6 p.m. through 9 p.m. and includes Harpoon I.P.A., Harpoon Summer Beer, Harpoon UFO Pale Ale and Harpoon UFO Hefeweizen. Soft drinks and water are also available.

The beer is also involved in the food, as the two-hour buffet includes Steamed Shrimp in Harpoon UFO Pale Ale, fennel crusted pork loin, salmon with whole grain mustard and fried onions and chicken aioli with sundried tomatoes over pasta. The buffet runs from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. and also includes fresh spinach salad with warm bacon dressing and homemade brownies and cookies with strawberries and fresh cream.
